Pineapples are one of my favorite fruits. It contains an enzyme called bromelain. Enzymes help to break down food and when used on the skin – it’s a great exfoliator! Enjoy the enzymatic properties of pineapple after a meal to help with digestion and satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time. Win!!
Green Leafy Vegetables
Packed with vitamins, minerals and full of chlorophyll (it’s what gives it that gorgeous green color)! Green leafy vegetables improve circulation and nourish your body. If chomping on green leaves isn’t your thing, ask me about an easy way to get your greens daily.
Chia Seeds are one of the best plant based forms of protein and omega 3 (even more than salmon!!). The omega 3 fatty acid is great for hair, skin and nails and keeps inflammation away. Chia seeds are one of my favorite ingredients to use in smoothies, breakfast pudding and baked treats.
