Did you ever think that you can gain beauty from a smoothie? In the past, I only thought of drinking a smoothie after an intense workout or because I wanted to use it as meal replacement. As I got older and started dedicating myself to being healthy and not skinny, I began to realize that there are so many more benefits to drinking a smoothie. This is also when I decided to invest in a high powered blender instead of purchasing from Smoothie King.
I try to drink smoothies on a daily basis because it’s the best way for me to get in an abundance of green leafy veggies. Green vegetables are alkalizing to the body and the amount of nutrients they posses is just amazing. It’s also a great way for me to have my breakfast because I am NOT a breakfast eater…Lunch is totally my jam though. The idea of having a smoothie for breakfast is actually so beneficial because all those nutrients on an empty stomach is just an atmosphere for absorbing all the goodness veggies and fruits have to offer.
