Before venturing out to open Shanti Spa, LaShell Carter spent six years perfecting her craft as a massage therapist and esthetician at New Jersey’s finest spa and wellness centers. She developed a desire to help people feel better about themselves (inside and out) and paired it with the best of her work experiences to pursue her business vision.
As a massage and esthetics professional, LaShell is committed to utilizing a holistic approach to help clients overcome skin imperfections and restore physical, mental and emotional well-being. From professional athletes to carpooling mothers, Lashell’s approach attracts a faithful following of clients who value internal balance and incorporate wellness into their lifestyles.
As an entrepreneur, LaShell created an atmosphere that is elegant, peaceful, and personable. Shanti Spa specializes in massage therapy, esthetics services and airbrush & traditional makeup services. By design, Shanti Spa operates by appointment only to ensure that no client is rushed and that every client leaves feeling rejuvenated.
Along with her husband, NFL wide receiver Tim Carter, LaShell is dedicated to strengthening her community through service, sharing and leadership. Together, the couple founded “Carter’s Kids RTC”, a community organization that provides a nurturing environment for children in the Texas foster care program. They also volunteer individually to help support families in need, women in distress, and children in despair. LaShell also takes pride in teaching her 3 children the values of stewardship and leadership. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and traveling.
